Features
R.A.P.S.
| The Roland Active Piezo Sensor (RAPS) eliminates the
drawbacks of conventional contact-type 3D scanners. It scans
data with hair-splitting precision, picking up even the most
minute shape variations. Minimum scanning pitches are 0.025mm
in height (Z axis) and 0.05mm in width (X-axis) and depth
(Y-axis). |
Scans Almost Anything
| Since it's a contact-type scanner, the PICZA scans a wide
range of materials. It scans glass and other transparent
materials, as well as clay figures, fruit and other soft
objects with unparalleled accuracy. |
Easy Does It
| With only a power switch, the PIX-3 takes all of its
instructions from Dr. PICZA software. Even people
inexperienced at 3D CAD design can scan clay shapes for use in
professional-quality computer graphics or produce any
handicraft. |
Dr. PICZA Software
| Dr. PICZA allows for complete control of the scan area,
including X-Y scan resolution. As the PIX-3 scans an object,
it creates wire-frame models on the fly. Color rendering,
mirroring and inverting features are also included along with
the ability to export files to popular 3D computer graphics
and CAD programs. |
Lots of Formats
PICZA scans are stored in DXF, STL, BMP,
Grayscale (BMP), 3DMF and VRML file formats for use in a wide
range of applications.
